There's a new entry in my collection, the (un)glorius Mattel Aquarius is here!
The Aquarius is a poor machine created too late and with a poor memory level to compete with others systems.
Anyway, it comes with a complete box, so the cassette system, and with a boxed envelope that contains all.
I've always been curious about the MSX machines, and finally I have one!
I have added the Sony HB-101P, that is the very last model manufactured about the MSX(1) platform.
The HB-101 is the Japanese version, the added P means the Europen one.
I took advantage of this insertion to add various things including software for the TI99/4
I have added the TI 99/4, the real Commodore VIC 20 competitor.
Commodore boss Jack Tramiel hated so much TI that with the VIC 20 and then with the Commodore 64 he managed to close the Texas Instruments Computer division.
Those were really different times!
Thanks to my brother Lucio, a great new entry has born: the VECTREX.
I have also added THE SPECTRUM and the ATARI 7800+.
More to come, I'll add soon specifs to the items as year, description, and so on.
Now there are all (or so) my lcd/lsi items.
I have also added a total to count all my items.
I am terminating to put items and images under the collection. There's a lot of work to do because in years of collecting, sometimes I wrote the wrong item or the wrong image. Then, I haven't shooted all the items!
18/10/2024 - New font and collectionI chose a new font that better expresses the style I want to give to the site. There's a new "collection" element that exposes, for now, a list of macro items.
06/10/2024 - New site!
Finally I had time to develope my new site! This is a container of all my interests about retrocomputing, information technology and writing.
Here you'll find:
- my old computers, peripherics, games, cartridge and consoles collection
- news about Varese retrocomputing that is, as the name, the retrocomputing association in my town
- books that I have written and some extract of new ones
